Holographic shader in Arnold


Hi people! I’m trying to make a series of holographic packagings but I am having a hard time to recreate the holographic effects on the shader. Do you have any tips on how I could achieve a result similar to this? Have no idea of what map/value I should to use :frowning:



if you are talking about the rainbow colorness of it, you can use the thin film of the aiStandardSurface shader


I would use something like a ramp with a facing ratio node, maybe put that into the reflection color, and have a bright, contrasty HDR to reflect
