not worry too much about the shirt as most of it will be covered with the vest and i won’t sculpt the sleeves properly until I’ve posed the model

last update for today, i’ve done the vest now…and i think that’s the first pass of clothes sculpting done…should be able to pose it over the weekend and then go over it again…

Great sculpting man! I love the fabric and of course the face, Harrison Ford in my face!
I would like to suggest to you to expend his boots vertically. He seams to have his knees to low.
And maybe move up his pistol belt near up his other main belt
Be careful for not pass his lower pistol belt on his knee.

yeah i was wondering about my proportions and stuff, especially with the lower half of the body…that comparison pic will help a bunch, thanks
i was also wondering if i should maybe texture him before i pose him?..cos it mightn’t be as easy once he’s posed…
anyway i should get those proportions sorted out today at least…

Shoulder have the curve a bit. (RED)
But the sling on the knee look at me. The knee won’t rotate with it in the way. Maybe just ajust the sling horizontal like the picture photoshoot,.

i’ve been a busy bee for a few days and should have something more to show on monday or tuesday
EDIT: i’ve also decided on a pose, its simple but hopefully it’ll do the trick, here’s a little peak at what should be close to the final position for the head…
EDIT 2: i also felt the shader was lacking something and realised it was some variation in the skin colour…so i took care of that and am quite pleased with the results

It looks pretty good, I think the hair is a bot off and I think it is because the specular highlight is to sharp, I would make it a tad more glossy so it fit’s in some more with overall softness, other than that great job

@mastone: completely agree with the hair being too sharp…to avoid having to re-render the hair I just touched up the latest image. I put a bit of colour into his hair and generally softened it as well. I think it’s helped it quite a bit…

yeah once i pose him i’ll work on the clothes some more…
and as for the scene i think i’ll just have him by himself for this one, i had planned to do more but time kind of got away from me…so I’ll be going with the “Star Wars promo shot” look…
i do however have another image in mind for after the challenge where it’ll be Harrison and not Han, and that will have more of a background
