Cool! amazing how that simple tilt of the head gives him such a different aspect…now is looking much more as Han than Harrison:).
The pose of the body is looking good though you could go for something less cliche…maybe an action pose of he doing something rather than possing for the camera. But if you decide to go with this pose is ok i think, because it has the look of the character, wich is key.

Wow, that pose with the biped and the head looks really creepy, but I see what you are going for. That looks like it will work out really well! I can totally see him posing there as an old Han now. Awesome job!

When you mentioned the Han and Greedo scene this idea popped up. Have him kicked back, feet up, sipping on something in one hand and the blaster cocked up in the other. Ring of dead dudes around him with the caption, “Han always shoots first.”
Of course if you want to finish in time you may want to ignore me.

@CKPinson: yeah he does look a bit creepy at the moment but hopefully that’ll be sorted when he gets his clothes…which i started to work on tonight

@JM-art: i considered an action pose but figured that at his age (i mean harrisons almost 70) he would be trying to avoid as much “action” as he could, so I’m going with the pose for now.
@wyattharris: yeah i would consider something like that, but no way do i have the time for it…lol…

I didn’t mean to insult your work- it is AWESOME, just the pose and the Biped was funny- Really hope you can get the same or close model again. i don’t know why i didn’t think of it last night (probably was too pissed at losing my work) but i just remembered that max has that auto backup thing…
went searching and found a copy of the file from about 5 minutes before the BSOD…
so crisis averted…lol…
Saves my butt on a regular basis!

A little tip for atuobackups, I set my project directory to my Dropbox folder - That way if anything happens, I know I have a digital copy offsite just in case of PC explosion, theft, or just the unexplained. Though the free version is 4gb… there are ways to get an increased account without paying.

I’m an IT veteran, this is a really good tip. Remembering to do a backup is always the Achilles heel.

Yeah, I use 3 HDDs- 1 for local/boot, 1 for storage and 1 for backup. I’va actually only had the backup fail (twice to be exact), it was external (1tb WD elements USB powered). Not sure if I just had bad luck with external being thru USB or what but have since gone back to internal.
