I am pretty new to CG forums but I thought I would give the HCM Challenge a shot. I am going to model Usagi Yojimbo.

Here is my base model so far. I haven’t decided yet if I want to give him the hat and cape though, thoughts?

Start without the hat and cape and then add them in later if you have time. That way you can see it with and without.

I figured I would throw the wireframe on here. I didn’t get much time to work on him but I did adjust his ears and formed his arms a little bit more. Also, I rounded out his legs too.

Can we get a closer screen of the face? You may have to many edge loops in the hip area and not enough in the face area to get a even zbrush model other then that looking good.
