Its not always easy to find time for the things you really would like to do in december, works been busy and not much free time to work on my model, but finally I found a little time to make a small update on it  I’ll take this upportunity to wish everyone a Merry christmas and a happy new Year.
Everyone is doing a fantastic job in the challenge, look forward to see all the finished work.

Finished modelling the towerpillars:

Added more detail to the overall model:

You have a wonderful eye for detail, shadows and camera placement seem perfect.
Textures need some love, and the ground around the gate in the foreground looks too flat.
This is really just nit picking of course, the overall visual quality here is top notch :applause:

r u sure this is a MINI challenge?

Very good work so far. I will be amazed to see your final work.

In the middle of preparing for my exams this semester I got a few things done on my model. I have been working on some more bushes/trees for the garden and the bigger tree at the courtyard at the right side of the picture. Here is a small render showing the result + a small description of the process used. I am pretty sure I will have to add the flowers/leafs to the big tree in postproduction.

I did some minor tweaks to some parts. Modelled the tower railing + the crosses on the dome and right tower. Added the bushes and Tree. Played a little with textures as well, but nothing much.

Overall render of the project so far:

NOTE you will be credited as having finished ON TIME.

Ok for those who want more time…
