#2

looks like a cool idea

#3

This is my face reference images

and my face modeling in Softimage
it is basemesh, Im gonna work in Zbrush to change the form a little bit
then work on details later

#4

The sideview looks pretty good compared to your picture.
Looking forward to seeing more.

#5

this image is just basic body blocking process…

I think I dont need to care about body shape cuz of the shirt and the jeans,

so it is really basic shapre, I separated the face ,shirts, hands, pants and the shoe part

Great start and good topology on the head.

Only thing i would recommend is to try and make the size of the polys rather equal across the head. (as much as possible i mean). For example, the lips have a few loops too many and the nose is a little too dense. This is just when you are going to sculpt it. You modeled it this way to get the shape more accurate. But for sculpting this is not really required.

For the body, i m more of a fan of doing a lower poly body to get the shape right, and have it as a guide for the clothes. It’s not always easy to get believable clothes shaped, but with a body underneath it makes it a bit easier.

Nothingness : Thanks for the Commnet ! I think u r right, Im gonna fix my face topology as u

said. and I’ve never tired to sculpt clothes, it is gonna be hard for me, and I think I will use

the base body mesh underneath the actual clothes to use as a reference, thanks !

and I modeled some stuff first,

I need to model the shoes and chair too.

then I will fix my body and face mesh, and then move to zbrush !

I exported my meshes to Zbrush , then try to get the pose.

it was hard to get the pose for me, (not familiar with zbrush yet T.T)

it is just rough pose, no Sdiv ,

#9

very nice progress on the base meshes -the only thing that jumps out are his proportions - the body is really small in comparison to the head but that can be easily adjusted in Zbrush so I’ll say no more. I really like your idea!

#10

Intervain : wow, thanks for the comment ! yeah , actually my actual head is really big :stuck_out_tongue:

yeah, as u said I need to check my proportion again,

for me, changing pose in Zbrush is not easy , so even I didnt want to change the proportion, sometimes it is changed when I move the meshes … I need more practice

Im not thinking about detail yet, I want to get proper pose first, (take so much time for me)

and it is today’s progress

today I changed the hands and the headphone line’s pose , and I subdivided one time ,hm

it is hard to get nice pose for the legs and arms…
