well i was searching for some sculpture that i would like to make and i found it. I have no idea how am i going to do this yet but it will be much work;)
Now i need to take pictures of my head and make basemesh…update soon.

hm, if there is no source, you could just look for any roman armor, like that from the back, maybe like this:
of course, if you want to get every fold in the cloth correct, than you must find a back-side picture :argh:

two ways to go for me ,one ,make my head fit this body ,and boost it a little bit
or second , adjust clothing to fit my body - im really thin - it will go more caricature way

I don’t hurry up so far ,im satysfied that i made quad only base mesh without problems …
Sculped left side a bit(really bit becouse i had to keep it low poly),took leg and arm copied to right side (right as we see picture )
I think head will have to be done with nice wireframe anyway so i will leave it for a while…
I need to take some pictures of myself and post them soon
When i have all “bodyparts” and armour proportions ready i will be ready for high poly sculpting…not yet !

Ok so previous idea just looked wrong ,I will stick to normal hair then.
Few tests ,some progress here and there ,but really need to improve anatomy ,and start finishing things.
Im really unhappy that i cant spend much more time on it but its life:wip:

Looking pretty good so far… damn that little baby is creepy!
Some critique: The fingers in the pointing hand aren’t in the right pose, they look like they are broken right now. Also the legs feel too small compared to the torso and arms. The cloth and armor look pretty good. Hopefully you can find some more time to work on it, should be a great piece once you’re finished!

Got new problem - looks like i lost 1 subdiv lvl …but its not big thing…
I will need to make great progress this week - finish legs,hands-uh. , head hair ,clothes ,child …
one thing that jumps out at me is the general proportions of your model = the head is much too large now in comparison to the body - especially the legs, which look tiny [usually there’s about 6.5 - 7 heads in a normal human size [yours is about 5.5] and 8 in a heroic character. Try making the head smaller. Keep it coming

i think i checked legs lenght with reference but they might not have enough “volume” or its becouse of head:/

It’s really getting somewhere.
Thing i noticed is that the statue’s right ankle looks rather thin.
And the cloth around his waist does look rather thick.
We still got a few days to go.

Yes cloth needs more love…hand either .
Hardest thing for now was/is that little child ,i should’ve modeled his head with symmetry then rotate ,but i didn’t …
Now I need to get easier things done ,then come back to hard…
Im working on various parts ,armour is half ready ,now i need to photo-model clothing ,becouse there is quiet no time to do it manually.
I like this head but i think eye socket needs fixing… ->

Here is small devil one ,head was most important ,tho he is too small to make him detailed …
Of course im working on another parts too ,need to do few minor things and thats all.
What about time ? I wonder how much is it or its too late
