HMC#21: QOTRM - Queen with Jetpack
Hey Vikram, sorry to bother you again, I was wondering what you meant exactly by edge padding. Could you post an image on the Zbrush thread with an image where this image is. Thanks a lot.

Hey Vikram, thanks for the detailed analysis. I tried baking textures with decimated models from Zbrush and got the very same effect so I’m guessing that its what you talked about the UVs not having enough space to allocate pixels to. I might just have to go the Guv route for this character, but I’m going to email you a part of the file, just in case I missed anything. Thanks again Vikram, truly appreciate the help.
Nice work…Love it.
Kenneth, I have been following your problem at ZBC as well, and to me, it looks like a Uv problem too. In your ztool, does the problem arise in the belt as well, or just in the pockets?
Unfortunately yes, every part of the model that had chamfered edges, like the holster, gunbelt, around his lips his boots, etc. Thanks to Sanket and Vikram’s help, I think I’m close to sorting out the problem though. I just have to figure out how to stop the exploding mesh deal when I re-import back into zbrush from max (to fix UVs). If you know anything that might help though I’m all ears.
