Modeling goals today:
pegleg (standard maybe with some metal on the bottom so it looks kewl)
boot for other leg (there wasn’t one on the concept, but I assumed it would be a boot…)
So I found some concepts and after a long time modeling (most of the day, it seems that it will take more time for me to get the boot out correct… :sad: ) Here’s a ref pic from wikipedia sources:
The shoe I’m going for is in the bottom right corner (brown).
Here’s my scrap one…I think I’m gonna start over and try a more methodical approach…
Okay, so I’m basically scrapping the boot thing cause even the original concept doesn’t have a boot! :sad:
Anyways, I’m gonna be working on this most of next week probably without internet and also will try to get the head at least somewhat done…
Modeling is harder than I thought (being my first go at it). I keep wasting my time by looking at the wonderful models everyone has done and their progress and keep saying to myself…boy, if I could only create that…but I can…I know it. I just have to work really, really hard and try my best and that’s about all I can do. So, while I’m trying this, please be patient and I will eventually get the hang of this. Back to work! :rolleyes:
