Epic stuff! I love the design details. This is going to be amazing.

I know exactly what you are going through. I live in Florida, where most people do have AC
s but we have to keep ours set to 85 just to keep it bearable and be able to sleep. We can’t set it higher as the electric bill is monstrous if we do. Since the summer has come on, its been difficult to sit down and concentrate getting anything done.

Dae’aaaang, that is looking good Murderface. The rocketpads remind me of the old mail-in offer they used to have from GIJoe, you know, 6-8 weeks for delivery.

Keep it going, it’s really coming along.

Just a quick screenshot update. Working on the superstructure more. Trying to make it more streamlined and I want to build an appropriately large bridge which I couldn’t seem to make work with the thinner structures up top. So in the latest incarnation the bridge will be a large structure up front.

#44

Good job!

Cheers.

#45

Uouu lots of details!

I want to see it finished!

Spent about 8 hours making this quick tank based on Germany’s Panzer 3 from WW2. Will be used for part of the cargo drop area in the back.

#47

Excellent details on the tank. That’s a great accessory.

#48

Really cool work so far. Love the details on the tank

Live from Chicago!

I’ve been in Chicago since Wednesday and won’t get back to Seattle until Sunday so no more updates till then! I’ve gotten more done since I posted but didn’t have time to post before I left.

#50

Wow this has really come together since the last time I saw it. Good show!

#51

Updates coming soon! Been too busy when i’m not working on it to post anything…but hope to tonight or tomorrow night. I’ll need all the time I can get

#52

its coming alone really nice man ,

Ok. finally a bit of an update. The rear portion of this zeppelin has been torture deciding how to model it. For the sake of time I have decided this will be the final geometry for the back of it. I’ll add some detail paneling and pipes and stuff, but i need to get a move on the rest of it. More of the detaling is on the right side, it will be mirrored to the left. I’m working on a german 88 mm anti aircraft gun to replace the low poly guns in there also. Hoping to get some time saturday to work on this more!

#54

really nice work japetus.

something i noticed…how do the Panzers deploy off that main rear stage?..it looks like there’s a section that folds down, but doees it go far enough ?

can’t wait to see this finished, it’s huge!

#55

wow…love the details man  keep it up, now if it were only a plastic toy that you could paint like those Tamiya car models…

#56

This is just amazing!

I can just see the explosions going on, rocket men zooming around and tracer bullets cutting the sky around this baby. The FX War is going to be epic with this monster cruising through the sky.

#57

Awesome attention to detail. I think the FXWars folk are gonna be pretty excited to get their hands on this. Quite an epic battle can indeed take place with this as a setting. Nice work so far.

#58

Thanks guys!

DaezD: Yes there is a ramp that folds down. What i need to do with the tanks is put some parachute packs on them. I got the idea from C-130s where they drop tanks out of the back. What would happen I think is that the ramp would go down, and the tanks’ parachutes would deploy and catch the wind and be pulled down the ramp. Around :25 here:

Excellent work Mike. This bugger is really coming along. Are you still going with bi-planes? Seems like they would be out of place with that type of tank, I might be wrong about that though.

SShh!! Yeah probably needs some updating to like a Messcherschmidt or something. Too bad I cant use the one I modeled a few years ago…
