Because I may or may not have watched Princess Diaries because she was in it. On a more serious note, I’ve created only one female character so far and even though I was trying for realism it turned out far more cartoony than I wanted. So this is a good opportunity to really focus on just the face and try to make it realistic.
Goals :
- Only modeling, no textures
- Base mesh should be detailed enough to resemble her face
- Using ZBrush to add medium to fine details, skin pores, etc…
- Sculpting hair as geometry as opposed to hair system
The only thing I’m not sure how I want to approach are the facial shapes. I’m probably going to just sculpt each one individually from the core mesh since I want to practice modeling, but I also want to keep in mind how they could be used to produce a rig’s blend shapes.
