Highlighting an attribute in the channelbox

Hi

Coming from max so fairly new in Mel i like to know :

Is it possible to highlight or select an attribute in the channel box by Mel or python or create any shortcut to select an attribute in channel box.

we can find which attribute is selected or highlighted but no chance for select or highlight .

I’ve searched a lot but didn’t find anything even in one tread for 2008 one said it is impossible so i try my chance now.

This ability was added in 2016 Extension 2.

channelBox -e -select pSphere1.translateZ $gChannelBoxName;
