Hi there everyone! Well, Im kinda new to 3d modeling. I am currently modeling a car. Now, my problem is that while I was modeling, somewhere along the lines my car went from low poly to high poly. I dont know how to change it back. I checked the meshsmooth, turbosmooth. None of that is on. So PLEASE if someone can help me with this situation, let me know. Im working with 3ds max. Thank you
High Poly To Low Poly(HELP)
When i worked with max “long time ago”
i remember the function to smooth out low polygon models with the
MSmooth option, this will embed
more polygons into the low polygon model.
only control z will undo it or an previous saved file .
try on a low polygon sphere this option and see how you can avoid it
by switching form wireframe to solid from time to time.
“or save incremental”
Cheers
Thanks for the help. If that doesn’t work, Ill just have to redo it then. No problem. Would by any chance happen to know how to model like a racecar engine with 3ds max? Or do you know of any sources? Please tell. Thank you
mister google!
do an search on:
how to model an car engine in 3dsmax, or something like poly modeling an engine.
Also a great help link for cars is
http://www.cg-cars.com

for tutorials…
