I like the concept. slaves and romans…that’s so intense, and especially I like the fact that there’s an obvious ROman senior in the foreground who is walking away casually. strong theme.

that you have a great connection with your mind with your arm, most artist have. great connection with their sight and the arm, thats why after they look an object, they start to draw, what they look, but you, draw with our refrence, u are hav a great connection with your 2 device. am i correct,
this is not theory or biology that i learnt,.
acctually i cant draw well , not at all, only small small objects, like stroke human, , i ask Allah (GOD) , God giv me this connection well, now ,after some days (months), i could able to draw from looking an object. so we should thank to GOD. isnt it

Is the Cesare walking in a river or something like that? I see a grey stripe long the bottom border. If not, check his relationship with the horizon line.

God, I just love this thread. Everytime I come in here I get lost in all those beautiful sketches.
What I find interesting is that you have more finished pieces in this thread now and on checking your portfolio I must say that you have managed to carry your strong sketching qualities (eye-catching texture, unique color choices and a great feel for twisted ideas) over to your finished paintings.
If I remember correctly, you stated somewhere at the beginning of this thread that you were missing replies and feedback when you posted an earlier finished painting to the gallery and that you therefore started this sketch thread.
I can imagine that you won’t have these problems anymore. Your work has become recognizable and unique on all levels of rendering/detailing from sketch to full painting.
In short: you rock.
