Hi Reuben,

As long as you have a path established for Swage, you’ll be able to activate the built in profiles. A path can be supplied via Path2Line, Trestle, or Polyline Child entity. The “path” object will be the first child in the hierarchy. If you have a second child in the hierarchy, Swage will assume you want to use it as your profile along the path instead.

Hi Brian,

I’ve made several attempts at this but no matter what i do i’m not able to activate the internal profiles.

I might try it on another system just to rule out the OS, i’ve had a lot of crashes on XP 64x although i’m sure its not problem here.

I’ll let you know.

thanks

Definitely try that. I just made a simple extrusion with Trestle as my source path and activated internal profiles without a problem. Its possible the OS is the problem, or perhaps the Igors sent an older .plm/.rsc file.

No luck on XP 32x either,

Simple setup, animated a null or plane, added path2line then linked to swage, the built in profiles are still grayed out.

Extrusion does work when using external profiles BTW.

Hmmm… can you zip up the project file and send it to me. I’ll see if it works for me.

Hi Rueben,

Everything is working here. Time to get the Igors involved. I’ll send them an email to make sure they sent you the most current files.

Thanks for the fast reply and thanks for the help !

That’s great. Looking forward to what you construct and animate with the plugin. Be sure to show us works in process.
