Help with Shadowbox (please)

I’m relatively new to Zbrush 4.6, and have been taking online courses to learn. So far, it’s been going fairly well, but I’m stuck on something. I have created 3 1000x1000 pixel jpgs to import onto a shadowbox. I can open the shadowbox just fine (like I’ve seen in dozens of videos), and I have imported my ‘textures’ into lightbox just fine. However, when I double click on my textures they do not move to shadowbox as they do in the video, nor to they have a red ring around them when clicked (as they do in the video).

I’ve been stuck on this for over a week, and it’s becoming beyond frustrating, as I have gone over every detail in the various videos I have watched and I appear to be doing everything exactly as the instructors are.

Any thoughts / assistance would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

the red ring your talking about is from SPOTLIGHT
double click your texture then under the texture menu at the bottom chose>add to spotlight,
now you will see the red ring.

for shadowbox there is no red ring,
you can chose draw on the top then press >snap to grid
there is all so options to add texture like draw>front to back>map1 map 2
