Hey guys and girls,
I really need a little advise on how to proceed with the following since this is kinda new to me:
I wanna do a little animation and get a first try at PFlow in side 3ds Max… now I am not sure in what passes to render to maintain good control over the seperate layers and actions going on in later post…
Well, I want to simply animate two boxes (will be replaced by cars later on) colliding and then sparks start flying around where the two boxes touch each other… I got a nifty little tutorial about the particle flow which I worked out during the last days, but now I am bit clueless on how to proceed…
I would suggest rendering both cars in a separate pass, the floor, the particles - but how the heck do I get the reflections of the particles onto my boxes then? Do I need a separate reflection pass then as well with the particles being hidden (is that possible at all like with other objects?) and just showing up in the reflections?
If some of you could enlighten me and share some of their knowledge with me, I would be really grateful!
Thanks in advance, Tobi
