Hi,
I am trying to load and run Motionbuilder 7.5 Ext 2 on OSX Leopard 10.5.2 on the latest 24" iMac
Every time I try to start the application I get the following error:
LAYOUT WARNING!
At least one base layout couldn’t be loaded. Please check that the corresponding .txt files weren’t moved or deleted.
After I click okay the program finishing loading and the welcome to motionbuilder video splash screen comes up and then another box asking me what keyboard layout I want and then after I select and close both boxes the screen is blank but has the motionbuilder menu bar at the top.
If I run bootcamp on the same Mac and install and run motionbuilder then it is fine. BUT I want to run under OS X as all my apps are running under OS X.
I also went into the motion builder package in my applications folder to view the package contents and I appear to have read/write privileges to most things and if I check the same package and expand under Layouts and then Base it shows --ANIMATION.txt, etc down the line and I have read privileges for this part of the package.
All in all, I just did the normal install and nothing went funky … except the actual running of the application :o)
Any help or direction to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated !!!
Thanks in advance,
Don.
