Help with normal map extraction in mudbox

Hi all I’m trying to extract a normal map in mudbox and have managed (with help from other posters) to stop edge bleeding crash but I am now getting very jagged normals around the seams of my UVW unwrap. (Looks a mess due to all the colours being in a very small space)

I unwrapped in max using the pelt tool and no faces or certices overlap with any others

Can anyone help with this problem

are you using mud 2010 with SP1…
or better try 2011…
there where some problems in the past…

Yeah I am using 2010 just bought it so would prefer to not have to get 2011 if possible

mudbox SP1 is installed…?

Just tried the SP1 download and it came back saying mudbox is up to date

Tried the extract to texture again and got the same result as before
