Extract the LOCAL MAYA 2018 HELP DOCS that you can find here

Set Maya to look there for help.
Create a locator (for example)
Go to the attribute editor and select:
“Help on Locator”
or
“Help on Transform”
Maya does not load the correct page in the browser.
Same thing applies to other help links such as those under
HELP > Maya Scripting Reference > …
They worked fine in 2017. Now even this is an issue.
Why!?!?
I just don’t get it anymore. Dealing with bugs in Maya is an unwanted full time job. How do people deal with this?
There’s just no time left to actually do anything useful with this software. How do people deal with this?
