Help with Brushes

How can i get my brush to look like this one. It seems to come up really uneven is there a reason why?

Spacing.

How far the brush tip moves between making marks.

The “Brushes” panel. Access it at least three ways.

  • Window: Brushes
  • F5
  • Control Panel (the toolbarry thing along the top). When you have the Brush tool selected shows a little picture of an options dialog looking thing on a button over to the right, away from other things. Click this to bring up the Brushes panel.

Once the Brushes panel is open, go to Brush Tip Shape. Down near the bottom is Spacing. Make sure the tick box is ticked (yours is) then turn the value down as far as you need it to go. If you go too far, you can get so much buildup that the softness of your brush is moot. So don’t just crank it down to zero and think “hey, my machine is fast, it can HANDLE it.” That isn’t the point.

While you’re there, the brushes panel is awesome. Play around a bit.

hi , how can i set the brush that fade off at both side. Just like brush in the 1st rep.

you can’t

the only way to do this is to use the tablet pressure. if you don’t have a tablet you can only fade out

btw. you can cheat by using the background to foreground option but it will still only fade in one direction so you have to switch colors or change direction
