Help with beginner assembling budget pc!

Hi there guys!

Im really in between these 2 sets here:

asus p8z77-m with
8gb ram + 3770k

or

asus p8z77-m with 16gb ram + 3570k

Should I go with the better cpu or double the ram?

Gonna be using PS for painting, zbrush, 3ds and maya for rendering scenes / light animation.

Hey man,

You could just buy the nice CPU and 8GB now, and just buy the other 8GB when you can afford it.

I heard that single channel ram would be bad, is that true? Is that a banchmark type of thing or it really affects our job doing cg?

Hey man,

It should be fine. RAM speed is rarely the bottleneck when your running consumer applications through Windows or another OS.
