Help with a technique please

Im am about to start working on a music video, and the concept is all the peaple in the video are basically cardboard cut outs. We will shoot them on Green screen with two cameras at the same time front and back. Then in Inferno i want to put these front and back pieces together so i can do a 360 camera move around them, and see there front and back. Right now i have all that done but when the camera is at the peoples sides they are paper thin. How would i give them a thickness like a cardboard cut out of a person? Thanks in advance for the help.

Try displacing the layer using its matte. :thumbsup:

I’m uncertain but would’nt that just move the whole thing to the side (without creating depth )…? Maybe if you have a little soft line (edge detection!) around the matte it could work…
