Help on hair Hair brushing...

I know this came out to be sort of a quasi-design problem with Shave 'n a haircut, but is there a specific work around for avoiding brushing of hairs that reside on the opposite side of the hair emitter? I mean, this is simply driving me nuts!! The brush tool should not be back face sensitive, right? Whenever I try to brush the hairs on a certain part, the hair on the opposite back side gets affected also…

Any help would be hugely appreciated…

Select the back faced strands and lock them. Modify > Surf Lock > Lock
