Hi everyone,
I’ve been working on my showreel for sometime now, and I’m working on the textures of my scene where I want some realistic looking rocks/bricks.
As an example I’ve been trying to create something looking like this:

In wireframe that looks like that:

(sorry couldn’t get a closer view from wireframe)
So as you can see meshes of bricks/steps in wireframe are quite simple without the deformed edges/corners. What I want to find out is how he got those dents and deformations on the corners and edges of each brick/stone piece?? Is it displacement map or bump map or both…? Please share your knowledge…
p.s. link to a full showreel: http://cgreelworks.com/reel/stephan-skorepa-demoreel
Thanks in advance. S
I found out that it was done with zbrush…
