I’ve got a character doing some sword swings while running, and if I animate one frame from perspective camera, everything’s fine. But when I batch render it using Mental Ray, it’s like the entire character is a 2d material for the ground he’s walking on. The weird thing is, when i look through the Camera And Aim5 panel, it’s working fine, but when I render it… not so good. How do I fix this?

Check your Render Settings, go to Renderable Cameras and see which camera is selected there.
