I am currently using maya 2011 on windows 7.
I have created a domestic home light bulb for a scene. What I’m trying to achieve is to light up the actual filament in the inside of the bulb first, to make it look more realistic. For the thin filament inside the bulb i have attached a standard blinn and coloured it a light amber colour. With the blinn selected i go into attribute editor and in the light effects section change the glow intensity slider to about 0.500. which gives off a nice glow effect which im aiming for.
However how do i animate it so it starts off completely off to a full glow?
is it a simple set driven keys???
