Hello, I’m an aspiring 3D animator, and being new to this site I am hoping I haven’t placed this thread in the wrong area.
I’ve been playing around with the CAT rig system in Max 2011 for the past few days and am really enjoying it so far, however, I want to animate some run/walk cycles for Second Life and a motion capture file (such as .bvh or .bip) is the only thing that I know will work.
Is there a way to capture the animation as a .bvh file? (Theanimationin question)
I have browsed numerous sites and forums looking for a solution, but it seems like there is absolutely no one who has been able to do it.
I realize that this CAT rig is more then likely very different compared to the Second Life skeleton, but I'd still be very interested in knowing how get the .bvh so I may use it as a CATmotion layer.
I can't be the only person using 3DS to animate for this game, right? :curious:
