HELP! Big grey box in my way!

So, I have this landscape with buildings on it, that was made in 3ds Max. I want to be able to look at this whole thing in my 4 views and just see the buildings and the terrain. But now my problem is, is that when I zoom out enough to see the whole landscape, there is a big grey box covering my buildings! It disappears when I render… And it disappears when I zoom in too close.

So anyone know what to do?

You need to work on the display settings in the preferences. Shift the quality sliders to a higher value. Maybe simply switch the backdraw thread there on (or off). It will do the trick.
