Help: bake disp map in Mudbox

I’m new in mudbox…
I create a mesh and I’m want to bake a disp map for maya. But I can make it work.

This is the mesh.

This are the settings that I use

WTF?

And some times the bake doesn’t complete at all, and I get this window and a message of failure creating the map.

What I am doing wrong?

the uvs are messed up…
are u using an old mud version…?

Now I cant export at all… I get the error every time.

-The mesh and the UV are ok.

The only way I can export is if I export from “level 0”. if y try to export from other level the bake fails.

And the “level 0” export has to little poly, and the map gets a lot of errors.

i am using the mudbox 1.07

I have similar problems in past…

Solution:

*Unwrap your model/object/geometry
*(If necessary) Move/change around your object in Unwrap Editor.
*Apply checker mat and see ifx Unwraps work without any flaws.
*Export that into Mudbox (Make sure Compress Numbers and Relative Vertex Numbers is unchecked).

Usually, if the object isn’t mapped/unwrapped after they are edited it will FUP/distort in Mudbox… so try these list above and see if it works for you.
