Hello all! Is there a tutorial that teaches us to model professionally as this helicopter. The amount of detail is absurd. It requires a special technique to do this.
I wonder how it’s done this type of complex modeling. Theres some tutorial?
Help about complex modeling geometry
Hey man,
Stuff like that takes years of practice. If your talking XSI, hitting + or - will smooth your mesh. Combine that with hard edges, instantiated models, and good reference material, and you should be able to make it happen.

I went a bit detail crazy for a while - I can’t see exactly what you mean because as far as I can tell your link is expired. What I would say is DO NOT model every individual rivet. I did that on my last helo. It wasn’t worth it. Do all of that with texturing and normal maps. What I find is useful though is to manually separate each panel of the model, rather than using a normal + AO map. In my experience it looks far better.
