I’ve been posting old drawings over and over again, I want to draw again and paint… I’m in the wrong job as a photo retoucher. Wish to have a job related to drawing or painting, it’s difficult to find job here…
head of the dragon
What’s the purpose of this image? Is it meant to just show a dragon’s head? What kind of mood are you trying to portray? Is there a narrative behind the image? What’s that vague stuff in the background supposed to be? Is there any reason to only show the head and not the body also? What kind of environment are we looking at? What are your light sources?
Try to think of your image as a frozen moment in a scene, and control your scene the way a movie director does. Think about the premise, the narrative, the location, the character, what you’re trying to convey, what you need to show and what to hide, the most effective camera angle and focal length (wide angle or zoomed in?), the most effective lighting to convey the mood you want, and so on.
ah sorry I forgot, this is a zoomed in image, the background was past of a mountain and city, … the dragon was flying… this is zoomed showing his head
my drawing is not yet done, as I said earlier my job now is a photo retoucher and not a 2D Artist… It is very difficult for me to concentrate on my old drawings, that is why I posted this as zoomed in showing only the finished area which is the head of the dragon… But I am eager to finish all my stuff in time as I change or get a job as an Artist even if I get hired on a small starving studio, I’ll go for it.
The purpose of this image was to show what I’ve done even though it is not complete… Even if you do like it or not.

It isn’t very helpful to show just a small finished portion of an entire image. A piece of artwork needs to be considered as a whole, and whatever finished portion needs to be considered in proper context of the whole. If you want us to help you learn and grow, then you need to provide us all the information we need to help you learn and grow, including showing us your weaknesses and flaws. Don’t feel embarrassed, because that’s not going to help you. If the rest of this image is so bad that you’re embarrassed to show it, then you need to work on it more until you are ready to show the entire image. Otherwise, show the whole thing and get some insightful critiques so you can improve it.
Good tone, but the screen needs a focus, a different color or brightness of the lights, so that the screen becomes vivid.
