HCR MINI-Challenge #43: Magic Door - Entrance of the Fortress of Solitude

Hello everybody !
That’s the first contest for me. That’s so exciting !
For this contest, I’ve choose to recreate the door of Superman’s Fortress of Solitude, located in the Arctic Ocean.
As you can see below, there were several versions of the Fortress. I choose the version with in the upper left corner but instead of rocks, I think I will make ice and water. I will also reporoduce the huge and particular key of the door. First sketches and modeling will follow in the next days !

Hi !

Here is some WP images !

I’ve made the door and I began the key. During the next days, I will Work on the environnent to block the point of view and don’t waste time on details that will not appear in the image.

As I said in the previous post, the door is a combiation of several versions of original one. I keep the arches and the logo of one version and take the door with the big lock in an other.

For the key, I made it pretty similar to the original one But I’m not satisfy with it. I need to try other ideas I have.
