HCR MINI-Challenge #24: WETA Workshop Tribute: Avatar, Aovesen

I’m soo in for this challenge :slight_smile: I wanna do something from Avatar, which is 1 of my favourite movies of all time because of the cg ofcourse. I am thinking of making a scene with a AMP and possibly even a Na’vi character on a Banshee if time allows me to do so… I’ll get started today hurray. emm, i dont want to rain on your parade, but im sure Roberto stated only “Weta workshop” not “Weta Digital” which would mean Avatar was not included.
might be an idea to clarify it before putting too much work in …

Looks like your right indeed, it does state the workshop not the digital part of Weta. I’m gonna have to come up with a new idea then I guess :slight_smile: unless I am lucky they actually did work on the AMP… will try to find out.

I’m gonna have to change my intial idea for something else. I found a nice sculpture on the Weta-website and I am gonna have a go at making something looking remotely similar.

btw, you can always edit your first post, and change the title to make sure you got the right kind of model in there.

That would be a hell of a model, I’ve always thought about taking a stab at those guys in my own free time, good luck!

I did try to change the titel of initial thread, but its just for the post as I see it, maybe has to be Roberto who changes the thread name? if not can someone guide me a bit as to what to do? regards Anders
