LeandroSoares great resource, thanks for sharing.

Thanks Jmart. It’s my pleasure to help. Here’s another cool site my girlfriend told me about. It’s really old, and intended for humor, but again has something we can all use.

you’ll find a summary of an edge loop/topology research thread of Cgsociety:buttrock:wich might be usefull.

I just wanted to bring the topic of edge loop for the facial expressions in case anyone is beginning with head modeling, and/or just for have a quick guide inside the mini-challenge thread.

hey guys, this is one of my favorites:

www.shorpy.com

they have some great old time photos on there.

Here is a tutorial I’ve followed and referenced many times when modeling a head. The tutorial uses blender, but the techniqes are universal.

Head Modeling Tutorial

For some reason the link breaks when you link directly to the tutorial. I had to link to the info page.

Hi there RageOfAges, can you copy the link of the page?..the link provided seem to be broken.

Not sure where to post this. I originally saw it here

Seeing as how many of us use ZBrush in these challenges it looks perfect. I’m off to try out decimation master now.

This is a very interesting, if long and epic, tutorial on edgeloops. Hope it’s helpful.

Cheers and God bless.
