Roberto,

This wasn’t on the Master List so I wanted to ask. Is “Unico” an option? It was one of my favorite 80s characters growing up and I loved all the movies. I’d love to do something from that series.

What about The Guyver series- it started in 86

#65

Well, I’m going to try to model Bert Raccoon on his flying bicycle (from the show’s opening sequence). The Raccoons is one of my favorite 80s cartoons (along with Danger Mouse, but there are a couple others modeling DM).

By the way, if somebody wanted to do more than one entry, is that allowed? Not that I’m gonna have time for that, but just curious.

#66

Yes you can do more than one…
Good Luck-R

#67

I was looking forward to do he-man,skeletor from a long time. If possible…I’m in and I’ll do two…maybe.
Good opportunity to get started again. Thanks

This is awesome, its great way of showing respect and appreciation to all artists in the 80s who inspired us all the time, its been a while since I participated in any online challenged I miss that, good luck for all

Hey… Now this sounds like a great project to have fun with.

I have an Idea but I’m not sure I’ll have enough time to pull it all off for the deadline.

Cheers

I think this will be the most awesome competition I have ever participated in!
I love all of those old cartoons like he-man, thundercats, transformers, etc.
I can’t wait to see the multiple versions of these characters.
Good Luck to all that participate!!

#71

Hello everyone, this will be my first participation here, mainly because challenge theme is just so great that I feel the instant need to model Quicksilver from Silverhawks. Let´s hope I can finish it.
And thanks to all who entry to the competition for brining back such nice memories from the childhood.
Good luck !

#72

just to be totally clear, you mean 2d animated ‘cartoons’ from the 80’s yes?

so not the following>>
no stop motion shows like bagpuss, camberwick green, the flumps, the herbs etc

looking thru this list currently…

Me and a friend want to model the spaceship “comet” from “Captain Future”. Is it possible for this challenge?

The release date in Germany was 1980. I don’t know exactly, when it was released in the US.

Here is a link to the “Captain Future” intro:
