Here’s some stuff on the smurfs for those who are interested:

And a Collage I made from screengrabs of the series. I have many many more but I didn’t want to crowd. If anyone wants more random screens send me a pm and I’ll get them to you via rapidshare or something similar.

There just had to be a smurf! LOL.

But anyway, all my reference of 30/30 from BraveStarr is ponced off the episodes on YouTube. I’ve just finished sketching a side view of 30/30 and so I will be using that as modelling ref.

Duckula has some character designs that could be spun out quite nicely. Original season ran in 1988, I assume that counts. Counts. Oh yeah.

I think maybe I posted in the wrong thread just now, Centurions which has something got everything with this challenge http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Centurions_(TV_series I won’t be doing it though.

Couple of other 80s shows I used to watch

the Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers (with rocking intro)
Or as I liked to describe it back then, the non-kiddy Bravestarr

Inhumanoids
Oh boy this was pretty horrifying as a kid. I dont know how they got away with it. In the first episode, a girlfriend of the protagonists and a whole bunch of civilians are rotted alive and turned into zombies. Later, another protag gets eaten alive by a monster with a see-through stomach so that his friends could watch him being digested. And usually the best outcome at the end of each episode could be ‘Only a few people died.’ I loved it!

I’m surprised no one’s mentioned dino riders, dinosaucers, botsmaster, pirates of dark water, babar, heathclif, tintin, superted, herculoids, thundar the barbarian, and a bunch of others that cartoon network used to show in the early years of the network.
