Hash Animation Master Users?

Any of you AM guys using the v10 beta? Is it stable? I heard there was a complete rewrite and stabilty was a big issue addressed. I was wondering if it was true.

Hey, a fellow AM user! I didn’t think anyone on these boards used AM but me.

Sorry, I haven’t used 10 at all. 9 is pretty buggy for me though and the interface is messed. I’d be interested to find out more about 10 too.

Another A:M user here. Or should I say former A:M user. When I switched to Windows XP A:M became absolutely useless. Won’t even load. Thanks for the info on v10 though, I’ll check it out.

A fine product for beginners and can help you get started very nicely. I used it back in the day,it helped me get to the World of Max,Maya, and XSI much easier.

                  My last version was 6.

V10 is better for stability if you get v10beta 7 or 8. I think beta9 was very buggy but the render has more features. V10 also has a better interface in the v8 style but it’s a little better.

V10 went through the beta version at the end of Summer, Alpha versions through the fall, and became the Release version on New Years day.

I am using V10 and it is the most stable version since 8.5. If people are slamming it based on version beta this or that, that isn’t helpful since it isn’t up to date.

I’m not telling everyone to upgrade if they’re feeling skeptical. That’s a natural feeling given the history of the last revision…

I had a dissappointing experience with V9, it never ran right on my system. But I think that Hash has a hit with version 10!

If you’re still skittish, wait 6 months and see if everyone is still raving about how great it is. By then you’ll be able to see some animation done with the newer feature (that are finally working for me).

Everyone else, come on in --the water is fine!

I’m not slamming v10, I like it. But I still have the 2002 CD and I’m sure alot of other people do too. I was just showing what is the best for the 2002 versions of A:M.

i do like workin with 9.51e

when you want v10 features you should update

my 2003cd is on its way (;

#9

Hash made it so it’d expire today, so I’m stuck with v9.51e! Some of the alpha’s might work though, haven’t tried them yet.

#10

The beta’s and the alpha’s don’t work anymore. I tested them

#11

Thats because all they want is your money and when V11 is out and shit still dont work in V10 your out of luck.

They should work if you trash the prefference files.

I tried that and it didn’t work. Yor talking about the .sch files right?

On the Mac, you go into the system folder, open the prefferences folder, find and delete the v10b prefference file, then start the app. This worked for me. I don’t kow how it’s done on a PC, but I am still using v10b6.
