Harrison Ellenshaw Video Interview

FX Guide TV did a video interview with Harrison Ellenshaw, matte painter and visual effects veteran, and son of matte painting legend Peter Ellenshaw.

The interview is over 15 minutes, and discusses some great topics in which Ellenshaw open discusses his views on todays shortcomings in the visual effects industry. Incredibly interesting and very informative, its worth a watch!

Ellenshaw seems like a great guy to talk to, i think i could talk to him for days without sleep and not get bored.

Hey Nick,

Thanks for the video. Harrison is a real nice guy. Met him some years back at a film workshop along with Joe Johnston. Unfortunately, at the time, I didn’t have a real big interest in matte painting and didn’t have the mind to talk to him about it, but did chat with him about film and technique for a bit. Good interview!
