That is great! Not sure what cartoon he is from though. Any reference?

#3

That’s a MOTU villain. You got his jaw down perfect.

#4

I like the head on him so far. Was tempted to model
him myself but I chose skeletor instead. U gonna model the full
body or just a bust?

#5

Trap Jaw always reminded me of my grandmother’s teeth when she’d leave them in a jar. shudder but I digress.

Step 1 is looking great, can’t wait to see how the details look when you start to flesh them out.

#6

Nice start Max, put some wires and references that you are following, I hope you can finish on time.

Cheers.

Simple and beautiful capture of the character so far. looking forward to this … would love to put him in a diorama with my Orko and some of the other MotU characters being worked on

#8

Skeletor was my first option, but Trap-jaw is great to. i love both Characters!

I will modeling the entire body, thanks for asking!

#9

Thanks, Orko getting very good!

#10

Great start, especially like the jaw, looking forward to any updates.

#11

Bishoplooks great!
I am a big fan of the movie and the HR Giger. Thanks and good luck!!!

#12

I updated my references. This character is one of the villains of the He-Man! I had posted in another Thread, sorry for confusion.

#13

Good choice, Cheetara is a sexy character. Thandercats is the best cartoons that already exist, in my opinion!

#14

Thanks Paul, and takes care of my men-at- arms doll’s !!!

#15

Thanks Max and Wyatt for clearing that up  Looks great!

#16

Hey Max, your Trap-Jaw is looking sweet  I love the clean model and your style. My only crit though is that his teeth aren’t sharp and pointy which takes away some of his menacing-ness.

Great start, looking forward to updates

#17

Beginning to shape the body and some details of the face.
The next step I will model the mechanical parts!

looking good! the only thing I see is the weird pinching in the hand joints but you probably are aware of that. I also thought that the arm was too short but it must be just a zb persp thing.

#19

Looks great, will be following your progress with this one. Some of the threads on here want me to try ZB again, and yours is no exception

#20

Dont worry about zb, your modeling is cartoon character. I think works well without zb!
Danger Mouse is a very good character and I think, that even without zb your modeling will be great!
