here’s a new wip.
i’ve done more or less all base-meshes on him (unless i think of something more to put on him. now i “only” need to do the weapons.
also did a bit of sculpting on his body, skull and “tentacles”.

this is turning out great ras. You gonna keep the head green? Or go with yellow in the end??

This is coming along real great. Looking forward to some nifty textures on him.
Are you planning to put some more details in his boots?

Right of the bat, the first thing to strike my eye were the knees. They look rather weird since it appears you omitted the sub-patellar fat-pad, which normally makes it look like “the patella has a full beard” or as if there are two round bones there.

haven’t done much on this lately. been enjoying the fine spring weather.
actually not sure if i’ll get time to finish this. hope so, but let’s see.
i did a little something else. heheh… was doodleing today and ended up with something smurf-ish. though it’s not my topic, i thought i’d share this with you.
next, i’ll hope to show you my latest wip on skeletor.

here’s a tiny update more on skeletor. i did the base of the staff and a bit of sculpting on the body etc.

ps. the head-flame is just to get an idea of the final model. still not sure how to do this. i suck at particles and a sculpted version, might be to static…

energise: thanks for the ref pict. yeah! after seeing kekai’s guild wars drawing, in knew i had to do that. thought it could help explain his “no neck” issue, aswell. having it hovering in some poisinous fume or flames.

sadly i didn’t meet the deadline on this one, but i’ll try finish it anyway and then post the result here.
things still missing are: sculpting more or less all parts, the sword and some kind of pedestal and last but not least posing.
i re-did parts of the armor tonight and added some too.
well, it’s been fun guys. good luck to those who actually made it till deadline.
