HARDCORE MODELING!: 80's Cartoon: Hordak version

Hey! I´m following this thread since the beginning, and yesterday i decided to finaly start the modeling of Hordak, its a version of my but isn´t too diferent that the original i think.

I´m learning silo, so i took the chance and im doing the initial modeling with it.

Later i plan to pick it up in Zbrush for the pose, subtoolsand details. In the place of the right hand i want to put a weapon, something in the medieval style, and a shield in the left hand.

Here is the original character that isnpire all of this.

Well, this is the second and last update. I´m running out of time, but i hope i will finish before the deadline.
I´m sorry i didn´t had the time to post more often wich is realy the nice thing about these contests but i started the modeling very late, and i never tryed this worklow before. I made one realy bad choise, and that was to pose the character before the sculpting were done, so i could´t use the symetry in zbrus…lot of time wasted.

This is what i have so far, the renders are from maya. there are a few things to add, finish and pulish, in the left had for example he will have a shield, and the weapon on the right has to be replaced…teeths and tongue are lacking as well as a colour map…etc, it will depend on the time i´ll be able to manage tomorrow for fixing and add all those things or the more posible at least.

Anyway, from this experience i learned a lot, so i´m vey happy with that.

Please let me know what you think…i have a few hours to work it out.

cant find that much to crit =) the only thing is that the left hand is quite tiny :stuck_out_tongue: but if it will be covered by a shield then it wont show anyway right? :stuck_out_tongue: sorry for the short response but i have a funeral to attend to now :confused:

About the hand you are right but, like you said it wont be visible so i didnt wasted time on it…time is what i need, wish i have made my homework earlier:hmm: .
