Hi everyone, I’m quite new to 3D Graphics (I was doing 2D before), and I noticed that in 3D graphics you have only meshes and NURBS, and with meshes you can only do polygons with hard edges, and its the opposite with NURBS where you only have curves, so my question is that is there some kind of surfaces where you have both hard edges and curved surfaces. Thank you

I’m not quite sure I understand what you’re asking, but it’s not a matter of hard vs. curved surfaces.
You can do sharp angles with NURBS, and curved surfaces with polygons just fine.
What you might be looking for is subdivision modeling. Subdivision is when you divide a polygon model so it smoothens out until you can’t tell the transition between each polygon. This is how most modelers work.
