I’m trying to find info about the hairtrix plugin (ornatrix/hairfx) for newer versions of 3dsmax.
But I cant seem to find any info about it (at all) appart from turbosquid ( http://www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/Index.cfm/ID/270842)
Even www.ephere.com doesn’t give you much to go on.
I’m mostly interested in the hairfx plugin, and I was hopeing there would be an evaluation or demo version of it… but I just cant seem to find any info at all…
Contact Turbosquid and ask for a trial.
That’s what I did and they provided me with a functional evaluation version 
have you tried contacting the developers through the Ephere website?
If you have any specific technical, production or artistic questions regarding hairtrix, especially the ornatrix part, I’ll be glad to help out as much as I can…

I haven’t contacted either ephere or turbosquid (thought I’d try here first), but I’ll do that.
I was actuallly looking if there were any forum or such dedicated to hairfx but seems like it just does’nt exist.
