had a weird little issue on a rig.

so i don’t know what is wrong but it’s just the arms for some reason, the edges of the arms get this weird lighting effect on them, yes it’s Minecraft but it’s stupidly easy to rig and set up, this is the one thing i don’t know how to fix.

What software are you using?
What have you already tried in order to solve the issue?
Maybe it’s a normals issue? (In some software when the normals are flipped in the wrong direction, the polys show as darker).

Maybe it’s a UV issue? If your UV map (that’s the spread-out map of your model so that you can stick a texture over it) isn’t set up properly, then maybe where the corner of the arm ends is really the end of the UV and the color begins to repeat from the part which is brighter?
