GrowFX 1.5.0 released

Hi Everyone,

We have released GrowFX 1.5.0. Now users have a unique ability to create extremely realistic trees.

What’s New in GrowFX 1.5.0:

[+] Added a new mesh builder called Meta mesh, that creates smooth transitions between trunks and branches. Using the new feature, you can create very realistic trees. Some examples of using Meta mesh:

[+] Added a new direction modifier called Optimize steps that makes it possible to create more optimized models of plants;
[+] New ability to influence almost all parameters of UVW Mapping for the Cylinder mesh;
[+] Improved interface of Cylinder mesh, for Advanced parameters group;
[+] Some minor bugs are fixed.

This is bloody brilliant - and the fact that you’ve gotten texture coordinates to play nicely with it is even more impressive!

Great stuff Eduard,
The way it use to display wire frame when converted to editable mesh was disturbing.
The delauny method looks great.

Yes, we first studied the Delauny method, but eventually developed its own algorithm, which only slightly resembles Delauny.

Hi Everyone again,

I’m pleased to announce that the GrowFX 1.5.0 (Service Pack 1) is now available.
This version introduces the ability to convert GrowFX objects into Editable Spline, and fixes some bugs in the Meta mesh algorithm.

I purchased growfx a while back and it’s really quite amazing. Extremely powerful…and now I guess it’s even more powerful than before!
