grid on object surface



I am trying to create a grid of particles on a objects surface. I have tried birth grid and used the limit by mesh option but I am getting some issues as the mesh is curved. Either I am not getting particles all over or I am getting a layer of 3-4 particles but I want only one.

Any other ideas would be appreciated.



Would spawning them over the vertices of the surface work?

If so, that’s just a Position Object with “Vertices All”.
