the second man with a bow…im going to try to put four or five warriors on my scene…and two elite soldiers from the other tribe…figthing in the scene…and in the top of them a bunch of aero fichting with ships…thats the main idea of the compo
Grand Space Opera 3D Entry: Jorge Lescale Muciño
man, the possiblities are endles… you’re going to have alot of fun with your characters…
nothing to crit - keep it up
Man those warriors have some attitude!
Waiting for some in scene action of them…:bounce:
Waiting for more like this guy!
Very nice …he has that look…
“Are u talking to me …ah? …are u talking to me punk?”
Looking very good The version with the slightly brighter skin looks a lot more alive now - don’t know if there are other differences besides texture color, but if you could make the skin shader work the same on the darker version it would be great. Are you using some sort of SSS here or equivalent fake methods? That could make the skins kick at any rate… but the brighter one is very close, so I guess your well on your way to nail it.
Make-up looks good too. I suddenly got an idea that he would look cool with some kind of Maori like patterns, those swirly shapes used by native New Zeelanders…
Great character work, Jorge :applause:
DimitrisLiatsos: :)
JamesMK: thanx James…can u explain me whats SSS?
and yes the only thing that i changed was the skin color…and some textures tweaks, hoping he looks like a different person…
i really lik the picture u send …is an incredible cool idea…i will use those kind of makeup for the other warriors…thanx a lot sir!!
SubSurface Scattering. I’m sure you know about it - quite important for materials containing lots of water, such as the human body, for internal light scattering in order to make the surface look alive. I don’t know what 3D package you’re using, but I’m sure there is some SSS available for most major apps.
hey great character man… could use more detailing in the face texture… but it’s all good… u got nice imagination… keep up the good works
lol… i can only agree…
outstanding work Jorge…!
this archer guy really has a character…!
keep this great work going and the best of luck mate…!
Yeah the characters are really cool !
However I am wondering how you will put these guys in your scene assuming the proportions are huge (and your ships are, which is ok)…Unless you want to make a strong foreground to your picture with the warriors.
Anyway, I’m waiting for your updates, good luck !
PS : the Maori patterns are a good idea !
great job just great
the charachters are really awesome can’t say more
keep em coming:thumbsup:
