Hi Jeremy,
No crtitics here Jeremy, but I have one question: why you took off the mountains from the background? I think that the mountains in the background were a good addition to the general mood of the scene. I know its late for this kind of question, but I very curious about that. Even without the mountains in the background the scene rocks. Once again, no critics ( Im not the one who can criticize you) to your great battle scene.
Take care and Good Luck Jeremy!!

#567

Hi there Jeremy!
Maaaaaan! :scream: Now this is one cool image, i can say wow, Youve done a wonderfull job mate!
And these 14Mpolys damn, now thats huge amount of those fellas. Congratulations on finishing woth a very great image  Cya and good luck!

#568

…Proctavian…I tryed a version of the composition with the mountians in the BG…but it was just “to much” you know what I mean…It drew the eye avay from the battle, the clouds decending into the haze of the battle worked better for this image…thanks for your support mate, hope my explenation makes sense…sometimes hard to put artistic decisions into words as I’m sure you know…

Kaksht…thanks for the kind words mate…I wanted it to tell a story to so I hope I got that across with the image as well as "Wow"ness factor…

#569

one of the best ones
Great work:applause:

#570

Great work! Your characters and modelling are amazing. good luck with the judges.

#571

Yes, I understand Jeremy. It would have been overloaded.
Man, but those mountains were very nice. Some harsh and cruel mountains.
Anyway, I`m sure you took the best decision.
Good luck again and take care my friend.

P.S.- And thanks for your support Jeremy. It meant a lot.

#572

I’ll find something to do with them…

#573

Hi,
just wanted to let you know that I voted for your image

Great action image you did here !

#574

Hey team,I’m posting now a “medium” res of my final for one of 2 reasons…

…1 I promised it a bit back…
…2 I’m a bit pissed 'bout the way they are displaying Widscreen entrys in the voting pages…You can hardly bloody see theM their so small ! It’s the way they have thier page borders set up I know for portrait and Landscape ratios…but I though they might have expanded it for us widescreen folk…guess I should quit bitchen… :banghead:

Anyways Here a medium-Res also for those that are voting… :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, that is a pain in the butt; makes me thank goodness I didn’t go with my initial plan of making the entry landscape.
(EDIT:for the record: I didn’t know that this problem would occur with the judging of the entries. I choose to use portrait rather than landscape because I thought it would be more dynamic for my image. jeez…)

(hmm… maybe I should post a high-res version of my entry on my thread? - even with the new jpegs, they still don’t have the detail that the original Tiff had)

#576

Well…I’m not trying to sound like a pain in the ass here really…but lets assume that instead of 2400 / 1100…I go …1100 / 2400…the oposite ratio…then the ENTIRE pic would be displayed …perhaps I should have thought about this before…but I thought they would have some way of “evening” out the ratios on the page…i dunno but i’m peeved dude…

#577

ArtisticVisions: Do you really think thats going to make a difference with your entry, seriously?:surprised
Essencedesign:Man I really like half of what you got here. And the other half I dont care for much. The modeling is Ok,not too smooth, and in some places look better than OK.The textures are average to above.
I just think things are off key or jumbled,no rhyme or reason for the most part.I alsso liked the earlier mountains man.Still all and all a good entry, and a chance at a top 15.good luck dude.

#578

…hmmm…the first time i’ve heard that……i want to say morE but …people have their opinions though…and I respecT…

#579

Kylebrn: Dude… what is your problem? :curious:

#580

…Agreed…
