Impressive my friend! impressive! But I think tha thise buildings should be more in the distance. It would be sasier to make real wave splashes on them.
I like it! Maybe some tips on the water shader?

Thanks arturro.
I agree about the buildings being more in the distance, I was thinking of maybe having one of them falling over or something.
The water is actually just a blinn shader textured with some photographs of water in my bathtub! It’s modelled using a poly plane and sculpting tools.
This last update is very impressive really like that atmosphere you have achieved hereI agree with arturo and with that weather you have here they would make nice splashes this would add a lot in your scene
You are doing great job here keep it like that
Great work so far! I just found out your thread (the competion has grown incredibly!) I like the thin balance of vast and peaceful, stormy sounds and air compared to the silence inside!
Modelling so far works pretty fair to the concept and quite clean!!
Agree with arturro and Lelantos on give some splashes to the outside buildings. Also I think adding some variation to the buildings’ forms might work, on the other hand it might ruin some of the balance of the image…
Waiting for updates!
Lelantos: Thanks! I agree splashes would look very nice, I’ll give it a shot.
terraarc: Thanks, I’m glad you like it! I agree the buildings could benefit from some variation, this requires some testing!
icedeyes: Thanks very much!
Made a start on one of the ships that will be seen flying around. Still very early, needs alot of tweaking.
All your designs are inspiring some certain balance and ambience feeling…
The ship looks great so far…waiting for more
The mood of the scene is great!very intense.Just the blocks outside the window…is too big to me.It kill the sense of free space out there…Is just a personal opinion…not a critic.
Back on the character…it is great! The clothing is very natural!well done.
arturro: Thanks!
terraarc: Thanks very much for your support!
-OZ-: Thanks very much, I agree about the blocks outside. I’ll try and open it up a bit.
great textures, but I think that the hull should have visible planks. And maybe the inside part cold have different color then the hull. I’m waiting for next steps! good luck bro:thumbsup:
Looks good, but I have to agree with arturro!
It reminds me of an old adventure game, “atlantis” I think…
Nice start to texturing, are you going to add any dirt? Overall the ship design really rocks! Must look good in the end…
Cheers!
:buttrock:
arturro: Thanks! visible planks is a good idea, I’ll give it a shot!
Roadrunner4D: I remember playing that game on my Sega Saturn when I was about 13 years old, great game! Ahh memories.
keetmun: Thanks very much! Some dirt is a good idea.
